E stata scoperta da Demonhades una porta jtag attiva sul pcb del lettore blue ray della ps3.
Questa porta è usata per test o debug nelle console prototipe,ma questo non esclude che si possa utilizzarla per altri scopi, come il deciframento del firmware o il costum firmware, come è successo per l' Xbox 360.
